MULE CREEK STATE PRISON

PLEASE Book Mark this page & come back often. This site deals with Mule Creek State Prison and run by a IFC member. Here you will be able to read the meeting minutes & be kept up to date on the happenings of the prison as well as the IFC.

The purpose of this Council is to establish lines of communication between the institution and inmate's families. To promote better understanding by the families of inmates of the correctional programming that effects family members. Also, to promote a better understanding by the institution of the effects that correctional programming has on maintaining family relationships.

The purpose of this website is to keep families of inmates informed on what the Council is trying to accomplish & have already accomplished. We can't do it without your help. Your input is very important. Comment sheets are available in visiting processing. PLEASE use them. Also, questions and information can be given to any Council member or sent to the address below. Its best to submit everything in writing but if you prefer not to sign your name, PLEASE don't let that stop you from bringing things to our attention.

THE TOPIC FOR the next meeting will be open. The IFC will be taking a tour of the Family Visiting Units as well as each Visiting Room. Please be sure to write down any questions or concerns & drop them in the suggestion boxes or write to MuleCreekMail@webtv.net . It really helps to be able to take cases before staff when addressing a problem, so please add inmates name & CDC number. If for any reason you wish not to include names, then don't but PLEASE at least let us know the issue. We can't work on fixing any problems if we aren't aware of them.

The date of the next meeting is July 27, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. The main Topics we are bringing up are the on-going Medical Problems, Food & Vender questions as well as going over the Bylaws. Any issues or questions you have and want brought to attention, must be submitted a week pryer to the meeting. Allowing us time to add it to the agenda.

We are in great need of Reps. for the Min. Yard. As of today, we have NO reps for that yard. Applications are available at the counter. Just ask Mr. Leese or any officer and I'm sure they will be happy to give you one. For just a small amount of your time & caring, so many good things can and have acure for helping our love ones who are locked up. You can also leave your in-put in our guest-book here or in the suggestion boxes located in each of the visiting rooms or in the main building.
