Until we meet again...

God's Garden Of Love

God looked around His garden And found an empty space, He then looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest,
God's garden must be beautiful He only takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain.
He knew you might never get well upon this earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough and the hills
were hard to climb.
So He closed your weary eyelids and whispered
'Peace be thine'
It broke Mom's heart to lose you but you never went alone,
For part of me went with you the day God called you Home.

Sadly Missed And Loved
Till We Meet Again
Fitz, Gwen & Ginger
You'll Always Be In My Heart

Gwen
...is one of my personal ferrets She was part of a group of four. She and her sister and brothers were surrendered to the PFRA in Greensburg several times They never had a forever home till I adopted them. Gwen lost her fight to Insulinoma. She was loved so much and she has left a whole in my heart that will never mend. My precious girl I will never forget you. Gwen........Born 3/10/1996 crossed over R B ......December 30, 2001

Fitz

Fitzgearld... was a ferret that I had fostered from the PFRA We were going to adopt him but he lost his fight to kidney disease the day before we were to sign the papers...... Fitz......was surrendered to the PFRA shelter in Greensburg He was neglected so bad that he didn't even know what a toy was or a hammock. As you can see he now does. We introduced him to his first toy a rubber hot dog that he loved and never went anywhere without not even to bed.... He also learned to sleep in a hammock. Before he came to the shelter his home was an orange crate with chicken wire around it. Fitz was my first ferret that I lost and I can't tell you how much pain it caused me or how very much I miss him. Sleep in Peace dear boy till we meet again across the Bridge Fitz crossed over Rainbow Bridge on October 17, 2000 You may be gone but you will never be forgotten. Your little body lies under our cherry tree but you little soul is gone on till we meet again I love you my boy.

Ginger
This Little Girl is Ginger..... She came to us from a friend name Ginger who cares about ferrets.... This is how she got her name. Ginger was kind enough to take her out of the Clairon County Humane Society and love her for the time she had her. She also took her to a Vet where it was learned that was adrenal. Ginger was around 5 years old.... Ginger loved to just cuddle on your lap and be loved. She loved to kiss you it was her way of saying thank you for loving me. Our shelter only had her about a month when she lost her fight to this horible disease. We took her to see a specialist and she under went surgery but the tumor was to large to be remove and our sweet Ginger lost the battle. Ginger was loved by many and she will always remain in our hearts. It was a sad day when we lost her Our Precious Ginger.... crossed over The Rainbow Bridge on March 7, 2002 She may be gone but she will never be forgotten. Thanks Ginger for giving this little girl so much love while she was on this earth in the short time you had her she learned that humans were kind and love was hers for the taking..

Meet Heidi ... She came to us from a lady who works with my daughter.... She had to move and couldn't find a place that would let her keep her precious Heidi. so she chose to surrender her. Heidi is one of the most loving ferrets I have every known. She trust everyone and loves everyone. She loves to play with our big group and loves to hide toys. She loves to get on your lap and give kisses. Who ever gets this sweet girl is going to get a gem.

UPDATE on HEIDI

Heidi went out today to a forever home. May 5, 2002 ...Eva Adopted her. Congratulations Eva... you got a very loving sweet girl. Heidi we are so happy for you but very sad to see you go.

SECOND UPDATE ON HEIDI

Heidi was returned to us on July 20, 2002
She just didn't get along with the other ferrets and
she stressed out and wouldn't eat. She also developed
a heart condition which she could have had before
she was adopted although she showed no signs of it.
Ferrets do that they hide conditions that we need
to know about.
Heidi's vet bill came to over $800.00 if you would like
to help with her bill please feel free to make a donation.
We are sad to report that after over $800.00 and lots
of love and care Heidi only lasted two weeks.
We all miss her here at the shelter.

In Loving Memory Of My Dear Heidi

Heidi

IF TEARS

If tears could build a stairway,

and memories were a lane,

I would walk right up to heaven

to bring you home again.

No farewell words were spoken

no time to say good-bye

you were gone before I knew it,

And only God knows why.

My heart still aches in sadness

and secret tears still flow,

what it meant to lose you,

No one will ever know.
