It's Word Time!

Welcome to Designer's Original Bible Lessons. You know, studying the bible is very, very important in the body of Christ. This is where you can learn and understand the history of the Old Testament saints, who Jesus was and still is, the Kingdom of God System and so much more. In order to stand firm against the fiery darts of the devil, you must know what are your spiritual weapons, how to use them, know who you are in Christ, and what power/authority you have in His name. That's why we want to take heed to every bible lesson we provide each week. There will be a new bible lesson each week, if you have any questions or any feedback, please click on the feedback icon.

The subject for this week's lesson is called
"It's all about your HEART."
Lesson 2: What does it mean to have a Steadfast Spirit?

In addition to your new heart, you must have a renewed steadfast spirit within to help you maintain and keep your new heart. A renewed steadfast spirit is part of the maintenance plan for your heart. You can't go out and face the world with your new heart without a maintenance plan. Your new heart without a maintenance plan is like someone driving without car insurance.

Think about it! When you drive without car insurance, you are taking a huge risk. If and when something happens to your car, for example a car accident, and you do not have car insurance, you are liable for the damages because you were not covered. As a result, you will take a long time to get a new car or make the necessary repairs to your car, especially if you do not have any money to do so.

Now going back to your maintenance plan for your new heart. If and when you feel tempted by a situation that will not only damage your new heart, but compromise your Christian walk, then you need to remember that you have a renewed, a new and improved, steadfast spirit living inside you. With this steadfast spirit, you are covered. You will not be easily moved

Remember our based scripture, "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me."(Psalm 51:10,NKJV). I think it's vocabulary time! Before we proceed, let's define the word steadfast.

steadfast - [Hebrew word: aman; Strong's# 539] faithful, to trust or believe; to be permanent or quiet; sure; establish. According to Webster's Dictionary, steadfast also means firm, fixed, and constant.

In order to be steadfast, you must trust and believe in what God says He is going to do. You must be firm and fixed on God's word. You must stand on God's word. You must have that "on Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand" mentality. Most importantly, you cannot be in an in and out relationship with God. It has to be a constant relationship, a constant communion, a constant fellowship with Him, if you expect to maintain your new heart with a renewed steadfast spirit.

Another meaning for the word steadfast is permanent permanent means lasting, intended to last indefinitely or for a relatively long time.
per means through. Manere means remain

To be steadfast is to be a permanent fixture in the body of Christ. You are suppose to be long lasting; not serving God one week, then serving man, the world, your job, etc., the folowing week. You can't serve two masters. Please read Matthew 6:24.
Before we end lesson 2 of "It's all about the Heart," I am going to leave you with a scripture from First Corinthians 15:58, "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the
work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord."

I prayed that you receive great revelation from this week's lesson. And that is was an inspiration to your spirit. As you through everyday life or through and trial, remember that you have a renewed steadfast spirit. It's ready and willing to stand and endure and obstacle that may come your way. You shall not be move! Next week, we are still going to talk about receiving the new and letting go of the old. We are going to elaborate on how we cannot operate in the old, if we have a new and transformed heart. Don't forget to give me your feedback on this week's lesson.
