slipknot is by far one of the most heaviest and oddest band to come aong in quite a while 9 members masks stright out of a hellraiser movie and a mix of heavy/hip-hop/hardcore music and not to mention coming from Des Moines, Iowa where in one song they state is nothing moe then a skating rink and graveyards they have just produced their second cd published by road runner records self-titled album "slipknot"
WHILE I'M At it let me point out that slipknot is the best shit to hit the fan in years all their songs are great and i hope the next cd comes out soon cuz i'm pretty fucking sure it's gonna kick as mch as as the first and also let me add their history is quite bizarre i found alot of information from slipknot 6sic6 that they started out as 4 guys (3 drummers one lead singer in a wolf cloak or something of the sorts) singing about life as a werewolf really really fucking strange joey and paul were the only orignal members and since then slipknot has gone through major line up changes ( a drummer, guiterist, and lead singer) i'm not gonna go into detail since i don't want to mooch off of slipknot 6sic6 sources but i will have a page dedicated to one of the ex members a really fucking crazy ass known as cuddles (soon i hope)
ANYWAY back to the info i accquired a import version of their cd and included 3 extra songs and they all kick much ass if you have the newest one i recommend everything from sic to hell i guess the whole cd since they pack so much ass kicking shit into their cds i mean i rarly have a cd where i can listen to the whole thing and this is one of the rare ones that every song kicks so much ass i can put it in my cd player and drift away i really liked "sic" "eyeless" and all the others but something that really bothers me is theres fucking dumbass parents trying to ban them from shows just because they figure the "knot" to be devil worshipping junkies but.. we've all heard that before and slipknot will undoubtly press on since slipknot will always carry on from show to show with their maggots in tow
MY THOUGHTS
"well not much to say here besides they are one of my favorite bands and their mosh pits must be one hell of a ride and hopefully their new cd will be out soon (i heard it may be on a different record label)"
*note* the new record label deal i have no clue where i heard it from i think i read it a while back on hit parader but it comes to me not much of a shock that the information was incorrect roadrunner still has the (Sic)est band ever
