Gurrg – guitar sPaG – drums Kud – vocals MUDVAYNE IS WITHOUT A DOUBT one of my favorite bands and considering that i was the one who brought them up to my group of friends and kind of "introduced" them they have a reason to be one of my favorite anyway they must be one of the biggest breakthrough success ever i mean 6 months ago if you asked people about mudvayne they would be like "who the hell are they?" then 3 months later "i kind of heard about them i heard they were good" now to the present "holy shit did you like mudvayne too? they are fucking great" see what i mean?? and to point out another thing their bass is great and vocals wow they are one hell of a well put together band, and their new cd L.D 50 what exactly does it mean?? well here is a small piece of information from their offical website on the explanation "L.D. 50 is a medical term used by pharmacologists to measure how toxic a substance is," explains sPaG about the album's enigmatic title. "It stands for Lethal Dosage 50, which represents how much of a chemical it takes to kill fifty out of a hundred test subjects." pretty good title eh? well anyway they came from a desolent place just like their mentors slipknot did, peoria Illinois to be exact but a little known fact they have been around for nearly 5 years and to think i've only known about them for about 4 months but stuff is slow to get around in our little hellhole of a town. now to wrap things up with a little this and that i heard that shawn #6 in slipknot was the one who "found" them and slipknot also named their album L.D50 album of the year for them so i think that shawn did find them and bring them to the big time and if he did jeez slipknot is one hell of a picker in the immense field of acts today... mudvayne pics
