RAPTOR vs. BUILDINGS SUPER FAQ!!!
Okay, for a while I sat and wondered to myself "How many Raptors take out this building? How about that one?"
Finally I got some initiative and looked deep into the INI files, where I found damage values and armor types and such.
Don't worry though! I've figured it all out and simplified it for you- what follows is a list of how many Raptors are needed to blow up a building! (You'll be surprised on some of them!)
(The values are arranged like this: "#-before-laser-missiles-upgrade/#-with-laser-missiles-upgrade"

Some interesting things to note:
-Two raptors will take out a Cold Fusion Reactor! Sending two groups of two could cause your opponents some serious energy problems!
-The Propaganda Center and Strategy Center are quite weak! The Prop. Center can be taken out with 3 Raptors and only 2 with laser missiles. The Strategy center has a 4/3 ratio. These are great things to target since it stops your opponent from building upper-tier stuff like Overlords and Tomahawks and the like for a while! Also with the Strategy Center they lose their Strategy bonus for a while.
-Raptors are NOTHING against Base Defense, Super Weapons, Command Centers, and Palaces!
-Most buildings can be taken out with four Raptors. I see people that will try to use them on Super Weapons or base defense- these are probably the same people who complain Raptors suck vs. buildings!
-The Laser Missile upgrade will often do NOTHING since you would have killed the target anyways. Often it's not worth the $$$. People spend $1500 on useless stuff like this then complain the Raptors costs too much! People also don't factor in the MiG armor $500 and Black Napalm $2000 on MiG cost! THINK PEOPLE THINK!
-Raptors are still prone to anti-air units and structures. You could try building some Stealth Fighters to deal with this but hey- countering stuff is part of the game. At least with Raptors you know you can still deal some damage to their troops or Guard Air against their MiGs!
-Speaking of Stealth Fighters- often their only response to Raptors may be to build a Gattling Gun in the middle of their base. Two Stealth Fighters will fly over, take it out, and fly back before they can be shot up. Is it worth the $3800 for the extra airport and two Stealth Fighters??

Again people complain that these are too expensive, but if you take out a $1200 base defense structure and follow up with your Raptors killing a $2000 War Factory that is $3200 worth of stuff you have destroyed and you still have all those planes! He's going to have trouble countering this unless he has Gattling Tanks or the like because you'll strike again ASAP.
-Remember that if you send your Raptors into a high-risk situation it may still pay off. Blowing his War Factory or more often Airfield with planes in it might be worth losing a Raptor or two to a nearby anti-air unit.

Personally I find stuff like this useful to have on hand or in my memory. Knowing (not wondering) that I can take out his stray War Factory or other key structure can give me a big advantage.
