Photography - River Thames - Saturday 15th June 2002

A large cruise ship, The Seaborne Pride, was moored next to the HMS Belfast on the River thames in London UK. On the way to Westminster the ship was loaded with goods before setting off later in the afternoon.

Tower Bridge was raised at 5.15pm, just after we sailed through on our trip back to Greenwich Pier, to allow the visiting ship to continue her journey. To the left of the picture you can see the new 'London Assembly' building built for Ken Livingstone, Lord Mayor of London - at a huge cost to London tax payers - details as soon as I have them. Clearer pictures will be available on the soon to be available 'buildings' page.
