In GH's mid-'80's heydey, alliteration was all the rage, and so were Luke and Laura - and on their heels, Frisco and Felicia. The couples were so popular that their names were uttered as one word. When Jack Wagner (ex-Frisco) decided it was time to part company with his character, GH worked overtime to keep fan favorite Felicia in placem which meant breaking up this beloved duo. Somehow, the show managed. A few short years later, it's Luke and Laura's turn. Breaking up Luke and Laura has proven to be no small taskm and even as GH poises Felicia and Luke at the brink of romance, Luke and Laura are far from decimated; heck, Laura is still in town, which in itself makes her a viable threat. Still, GH forges ahead, testing the waters with these two adventurous and comedic spirits...and guess what? Luke and Felicia already have a following. Somewhere deep down, even though they know the couples used to be, fans know - and GH knows - that this pairing really does make some kind of crazy sense.
