| Justin on how the group got started | "Lots of people claim that with the Mickey Mouse Club I started the group, but Chris is the one who started the group. It's a really long story actually, how everybody met up. JC knew Joey before the group. I had met Joey before the group...I knew Chris before and I had the same vocal coach as Lance..My mom came up with the name. We shot it around and thought it would be a good name to represent us, 'cause initially that was the idea-we wanted a name that would describe and represent our personalitites, our singing and dancing all in one. And we felt like 'N Sync would be a perfect name. Shortly after we copyrighted it, we recognized that all the last letters of our names spelled 'N Sync!" |

| Justin on music | "I'd love to do a song with LeAnne Rimes...I've been listening to the Top 40 'cause that's where we're at. I've been studying the billboard charts and stuff. I used to listen to alot of country, but I don't get a chance to listen to alot of it. I think the ones we like the ones most that crossover into pop like LeAnne Rimes, and Shania Twain." |
| Justin about 'N Sync Inspirations | "I don't think 'N Sync wants to emulate anybody. We want to be pioneers in the music industry. We want to make our own name. We have inspirations individually and as a group. We look up to groups like Boyz II Men, Take 6, and groups that really take time to do those cappella harmonies and those really tight intricate chords. But as far as being somebody, we want to be 'N Sync" |
