what???? nsync broke BSB's record sales by a whole lot! what a shock for all us BSB fans out here! i mean, JEEZ!!!!! BSB---1.3 million....NSYNC---2.4 million! they broke all the records! personally (although i have nothing against nsync and i do think they are pretty cool) BSB is STILL a lot better and breaking record sales doesn't exactly prove much. It doesn't prove anything about the QUALITY of their music!! Anways, BSB are STILL TOPS and THEY'RE concerts were a WHOLE LOT more sold out that NSYNC! thank you!! hehe! note---i have nothing against NSYNC and i DO think tbey are a pretty cool band...nsync fans out there don't get me wrong...i like 'em!

hey ya'll!Four students at the Sunnybrook Christian Academy in San Antonio,Texas have been suspended for going to see a Backstreet Boys concert, ironically a band noted for their wholesome appeal. The private school has a policy against 'involvement in inappropriate music', says school administrator Trudie Perez. 'Our conduct must be moral and upright 24 hours a day. Students are expected to adhere to school regulations against such behaviour as swearing and drinking even after the school bell has rung for the day.' Here's my own take on this....WHAT THE HELL??? That's just ridiculous!! I mean..the BSB's performance is the most clean-cut performance i have ever seen in my life! THere is NO profanity or anything else that may be obusive or whatever! I am GLAD I don't go to a school like THAT! The school really has no say so in what the students do after school hours. This is TOTALLY absurd!!! OMG!! *freaky*
BSB CONCERT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Alright the BSB concert was last night and of course i went!! it was absolutely and totally the BEST concert i have been to!! it was AMAZING!!! i was in the ninth row and i could not BELIEVE how CLOSE i was!!! OMG!!! first off, mandy moore and EYC weren't even there and so they didn't perform!! i don't know who the other peeps were but they only sang one song each. then there was this delay till around 8:30 (concert started at 7:30) where we just waited...FINALLY it was TIME!!! now i was in a corner section of the floor and so the BLACK BOX from which they rose out of just HAPPENED to be RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!!!!! they rose out of the mist and the whole SUPERDOME went NUTS!!! (during the whole concert they had to pass by my section to go and change!! =0 ) they floated out to the stage and the show began! they sang around 18 songs but i don't remember the order...it DID include larger than life, that's the way i like it, as long as you love me, quit playing games, don't wanna lost you now, don't want you back, one, we've got it goin' on, i want it that way, and it's gotta be you! WHEW! they changed in to outfits like the space outfit (course) and then some white and black outfits and then at the end of the show some jerseys and casual clothes wearing mardi gras hats. during Quit Playing Games they flew out and threw Mardi Gras beads out in the audience..Brian was on my side for that! During practically the WHOLE concert NICK was on my side of the floor!!!! i was in HEAVEN! heheh! and get this..at one point during a song EVERBODY in my section was sitting down but then these girls behind me got up and held up some huge signs..so i shot up and started waving at them...and NICK NOTICED AND WAVED BACK AT ME!!!!!! i was like OH MY GOSH!!!!! that was highlight for me! after around 2 hours they said bye and left the stage...about half of the people had left when all of the sudden they popped out and went straight into It's Gotta Be You! then they introduced all of the band and dancers and had a little screaming contest with all of the fans. Howie did a little rap for us! it was so cute!! right after than they went into I Want It That Way and that's when the show ended!! it was AWESOME!!!

well the Grammys were on last night (i think most of guys knew that!). i watched the whole thing and i just have to say this: BACKSTREET BOYS SHOULD HAVE WON!!!!! i don't think Santana should have won 8 grammys at all!! i mean Backstreet Boys should have DEFINITELY won Album Of The Year!! No doubt about it!! They made SOME sort of mistake to give it to Santana!! One more thing..the BSB gave an awesome performance with Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely. they sounded very mature and wholesome. it was so earthy and..REAL!

Hey! Ok well last night i was watching the People's Choice Award expecting to see BSB there....well they weren't cause of the spring tour. Anyways, i just thought i'd let ya'll know that BSB DID win an award...they won the Best Group Award!! They were up agaist NSYNC and Dixie Chicks but they won!! (Was there any doubt?!? LOL) Way to go BSB!!!

Ok well this is what i thought of it...it thought i was AWESOME!!!! i mean usually all of the BSB videos are full of humor and just good ol' fun...but this time it was about something that really had a place in each of the boys heart. that goes to show that they're music is not little fun pop music but has a depth to it. no wonder they're #1!!
also it was so freakin' SAD!!! in a good way!

Buh-Bye Jive!! BSB Fights NStynck!
The Backstreet Boys are sharing Jive with rival boyband N STYNC (just kidding even though i don't really like NSYNC!) That is just plain NOT FAIR! I don't blame BSB for leaving! Jive is stinking up the house! Well BSB left Jive Records when Nsync was signed, as you know, they are major rivals on the Pop Charts. During a fan conference when the BSB were asked how they felt about this, they wouldn't really give a straightforward answer! Of course, i don't blame them because although they might not have anything against NSYNC itself, I bet they have something against Jive!! Now, even FANS of the bands are rivals. Will the war ever end???

COLUMBINE HIGH SCHOOL BOYCOTTS BACKSTREET BOYS FOR TRENCHCOATS
Colorado- Students at Columbine high school staged a protest today
against the popular "boy band" the Backstreet boys. They are asking
that all teens not purchase their CD's, albums, T-shirts or attend their
concerts. This protest and voicing comes just days after the MTV
music awards where the band performed.
The BSB performed one of there hits and came out on stage in dark
trenchcoats. One student from the rally was qouted as saying. "We
feel they (Backstreet Boys) were mocking our shooting
incident." The costumes were considered to be in very poor taste
and a very slap in the face to those who suffered and died in the
terrible incident. The students have formed a committee to consultant
an attorney to see if any charges could be brought against the band
members for their distastefulness.
The members of the band could not be reached for any comment. A
publicist with the band states that this was not a malicious punch
towards the students or families of the high school. The BSB states
they feel as if they have done nothing wrong and plan to vehemently
defendant against any legal action taken.
