We were waiting for your mother in the car.
The silence shattered windows, "did you have a good day?"
"no." You are selfish.
I said "You don't love me." You looked out the window.
All I ever wanted was a loving wife.
All I ever wanted were good kids.

You were all plastics and anarchy and
I was all cottons and childish dispositions, I made
myself laugh out loud.
I made a cruel joke about your mother and
you giggled like a little girl, the car exploded.
All I ever wanted was a happy middle age.
All I ever wanted was a succesful nicotine addiction.

At this point, you still dont know that I cried over you.
I was devout to my collection (and my daughter..and my work...)
Here comes your mother, you perk up.
You always did love her more than me (I mean this in both ways)
All I ever wanted was a nice back yard.
All I ever wanted was to hold my mother once more.
All I ever wanted was to sleep with my wife.
