“I DON’T WANT YOU…” Nick started in
“OH SHUT UP!” Stephanie said interrupting him before he could finish
Nick crossed his arms and looked at her, he wasn’t happy, but neither was she.
“You have been acting like a brat Nick…” His mouth dropped open, “Yes, Nickolas, a brat! I do not belong to you. You can not run my life. You can not tell me who I can or can’t date, and you are not, I repeat, ARE NOT going to make everybody’s life miserable because you are not happy with the situation. Let me make it simply for you, GROW UP!”
Nick had held it in, but now he blew up, “I have known A.J. longer than you, and you are MY friend! I am not just going to stand her and watch you throw your heart at him and have him stomp all over it!”
Nick could have said anything else in the world, and not mad Stephanie as mad as he just did. She smacked him up side the head. Nick raised his hand, “Go ahead, you can hit me, but I’ll knock you so flat they will need a scraper to get you off the floor! I AM NOT THROWING MYSELF, OR MY HEART AT ANYONE!” She said thru gritted teeth, “And if you keep it up, I won’t be your friend!” She turned and walked out, slamming the door behind her.

A.J. and Megan waited outside the door, they heard Nick start to yell, and Stephanie interrupt him, they heard talking mixed with yelling, and then they heard a smack or something. A.J. looked at Megan, “it’s getting nasty, let’s split.” With that Megan went to go find Brian, and A.J. went down to the lobby to wait for Stephanie.

Stephanie stepped off the elevator into the lobby and looked around for A.J., she was surprised to see him get off the elevator right behind him, “How did you…..?”
“I went up to see if you were coming and Megan told me you were on your way down.” A.J. lied, but he didn’t want her to know that he and Megan had heard part of the fight.
“Oh. Well, are you ready?”
A.J. grinned, “Yes my lady, your limo awaits.”
Stephanie looked at him, “Well, a taxi, but you can pretend it’s your limo.” He said with another grin
Stephanie laughed, she was determined to have fun with A.J. and forget about Nick and their fight.

Megan knocked on Brian’s door, there was no answer. Megan jumped as Brian came up behind her, “Hey.”
“Ahh! Don’t do that.”
“What’s up?”
Megan looked at him for a minute, “Did you hear the yelling?”
“What yelling?” Brian asked
“Stephanie and Nick got into….” Megan stopped as Nick stomped past them and slammed the door to his room, “it.”
“You don’t say.” Brian said looking at Nick’s door and then back at Megan, “What happened.”
“Well, Stephanie and A.J. went out tonight, and Nick found out and got mad, and Stephanie let him have it. I don’t think either one of them is happy from the way she stomped off and…”
Brian nodded, “I saw. Well, what do you think we should do?”
“I don’t know, should we do anything?”
“We have to talk to him.”
“Okay, after you.”
Brian knocked on Nick’s door and looked at Megan, “Here goes nothin.”
“What do you want?” Nick asked from inside
“Hey man, it’s B-rok, what’s goin on?”
Nick turned the TV off and walked across the room. He opened the door and then went back to the bed, throwing himself on it and flipping the TV back on.
Brian and Megan looked at each other and then walked in, “You wanna play on the Sega dreamcast?”
“Nah, but you guys can if you want.”
Brian and Megan looked at each other again, “Um, you talked to Stephanie lately?”
Nick glared at Megan, “You know I have.”
“Well, how did it go?”
“Go away, you guys are bothering me.”
“Nick..” Brian started
“Just go, okay.”
“Well, are you going to talk to Stephanie?”
“Probably not this century, or the next for that matter.”
Brian sighed, “Come on Megan, we better leave him alone.” They left Nick to sulk, and just hoped Stephanie would act a little more mature about it.

“So, did you and Nick work things out?” A.J. asked as they entered the club
“No, we didn’t.”
“Are you guys going to work things out?”
“Well, considering that Nick is an idiot, and a completely selfish brat, and, did I mention he’s an idiot? I don’t think so.”
A.J. gave her a weak smile and pulled her onto the dance floor, hoping to get her mind off of Nick and more onto him.
