Megan looked at A.J. and Stephanie for a minute before going after Nick, “Wait up!”
Nick turned around and blew up in her face, “DID YOU SEE THAT?!? HOW COULD SHE?!”
Megan sighed, “Nick, she can do that.”
“NO SHE CAN’T!”
“Nick, she is not your property.”
“I know she’s not! I’m not stupid!”
“Then why do you care so much?”
Nick opened his mouth but nothing came out for a minute, “I don’t know. I guess, I, well, I guess I sorta like her. I mean, SHE’S MY FRIEND!”
Megan was crushed, but she didn’t show it, she simply said, “Just because you knew her first doesn’t mean she can’t be friends with the other guys.”
“Well, it should!”
Megan gave him a weak smile, and shrugged. She was really hurt by what Nick said, but she didn’t say anything.”

Stephanie looked at Megan before she ran after Nick, and then looked at A.J. He was looking at her intently, neither one said anything for a moment. A.J. leaned forward to kiss her again and Stephanie stopped him, “No Alex, we can’t do this.”
“Why not?”
“Because there is to much confusion.”
“What confusion? I’m not gonna lie to you Miss, I think you’re cool, and I wish we could go out again sometime, when the rest of the fellas aren’t around.”
Stephanie looked around the room and sighed, “Strictly on a friend basis?”
A.J. nodded, “Strictly.”
“Okay.”
A.J. gave victory laugh, “Well, I better get back to my room, unless you would let me stay in here tonight..”
“Get out Alex.” Stephanie said with a smile
A.J. shrugged and turned to leave, “Okay, no problem.”
As soon as A.J. laughed Stephanie fell over on the bed, “What in the world is happening here?” She asked the empty room.
