It seems the whole world
Relies on me
To hold them up- individually
It feels everything I do
Is never enough
I sacrifice pride
To be friends with you
I never sacrifice loyalty
Though everyone else is always untrue
I live for my friends
That’s the way it will always be
No matter-
If you hurt me-
I forgive, I forget
People take my loyalty
Not very seriously
They always know that I’m always there
I’ll fight for you
You’ll always have my love, my loyalty, my support…
even when you don’t deserve it
There isn’t much you can say or do, which will make me
speak untrue.
My greatest fault is this—I care so much
I hate you all
You make me feel as if I’m about to fall
From a cliff, into the raging sea
You would be lost in the darkness
Without me
I am your candle, your shining flame
I’ll take you through the storm
All the while-you not knowing that there’s something
wrong with me
I’ve never been strong for me
I keep hope alive for with out it I think you’d
relinquish the fight.
My world is you-you my friends, you my family—
You.
Call on me as a friend-
You know now…I’ll always be here, ‘til the end…
but ask yourself:
“Would I give everything for my friends?”
