Guardian History
Thousands and thousands of years ago, before human kind had mastered the world, there were two other senient, superior creatures: Canis Sapiens and Felis sapiens. Their existance was confined to two islands in the south pacific, nearly a thousand miles from Hawaii. These islands were not small Islands, but they were hidden from ignorant discoverers, whose keen eyes, which were so smart on sighting the oddest bird, the most distinct of rocks, had passed right over the land rising up off the horizon. These explorers had passed right over a goldmine of opportunity because of an ancient magic that engrained itself deep within these two cultures. In spite of their fairly common origin, and their close proximities to one another, these two races were very much enemies. Not only were these races enemies, but they shared a common bond of magic, and technology. Humans were still having problems building the pyramids, and the Canis sapiens were perfecting a vacuum drive. All though the canosapiens were so advanced, their civilization remained simple, and devoid of any lavishness. The felosapiens, on the other hand built huge palaces honoring their leaders and themselves, and created huge stone statues of their feline deities.
