AJ's Biography

AJ’s life began in his hometown of South Palm Beach, Florida on January 9,1978. This adorable baby was born to the lucky parents of Denise and Bob McLean. He lived in a household with two parents until he was four when his parents divorced. Ever since, he was raised in a feminine household with his mom and grandmother. No wonder why he’s so comfortable around girls, which explain why flirting come so natural to him. As a child he was always interested in the entertainment business. He did everything from dancing, singing, acting, and puppetry. AJ’s very first acting job was when he was seven. He was Dopey in “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”. He was soooooooooo cute and he just stole the show!!! Even as a little guy he had girls going up to him and asking for autographs. By the time he was in the sixth grade he had appeared in twenty-seven productions. He also had a part in the Nickelodeon show “Hi, Honey, I’m Home”.

But that was only the beginning of his life. Everything just clicked when he got together with Howie and Nick. AJ, Howie, and Nick were always bumping into each other while auditioning for TV production and things like that. They got together to start a group. So they decided to audition people to become a member of the group. And of course the two guys that became part of the group are Kevin and Brian. So AJ, Howie, Nick, Kevin, and Brian make up the Backstreet Boys. The greatest group in the world!
