Questions to Answer

This is a tough one. A lot of people will ask questions that you don't feel comfortable answering, or that you don't think is right.

A good way to make sure that you don't have to answer questions that you don't feel are appropriate is to have a set of guidelines of questions that you don't answer.

As much as we would like to answer everything a person asks us, sometimes we do more harm than good by trying to answer them.

Here is a general list of questions that I don't believe should be answered by the deck. Each reader has their own list of what they do and don't do, and I suggest that you make one of your own. In time, you will learn what you are comfortable with and what you aren't, so the list is often going to be a work in progress.

What questions are inappropriate:
1. Questions regarding important health matters.
2. Questions regarding death.
3. Questions regarding other people. (i.e. doing a spread for the person's neighbour.)
4. Questions regarding the nature of behaviour in people close to them.
5. Questions regarding secrets of the people close to them.
6. Questions regarding personal karma.(i.e. Why did this happen to me?)
7. Questions regarding divorce, affairs or other important love matters. This requires delicacy and often shouldn't be answered. Naturally, you need to tell the person what they need to know, but you should draw a line with how directly you should answer questions of this nature.

These are just a few things that I feel are best avoided in a reading. Another important factor is to refrain from giving advice and counselling unless you are a trained professional. This is esssential, as it is important that the Tarot is kept as entertainment if you aren't a professional in this field.
