Free PC 1.1b Update to Owners of earlier versions


Click HERE, and save memupg11.exe (354K) to disk. Remember where you saved it. Get off the internet. Click on it. The installation will find your current copy of Memlok. Let the install put it there. It will leave all your current work intact. Enjoy!

If you need to have a friend get it for you because you don't have internet access, just have them put it on a floppy. Then you'll insert it and double click on it!

If you don't have any friends (HA!), just send a check for $5.50, and I'll send it to the address on the check. Just put Memlok 1.1b upgrade on the memo. Please don't use the 800# and a credit card for this small of an amount...thanks!

New Features and Changes in PC MemLok 1.1

1. About 120 more pictures per translation are "colorable." They can be printed without color so that they can be colored with crayons or colored pencils.

2. Most double clicks in version 1.0 are now single clicks making maneuvering more smooth.

3. The "Word Correction" option in Practice Pad is now remembered between log-on sessions.

4. Moving between pages now synchronizes the displayed verse. For example the verse being reviewed on the Review Verses page will be highlighted when moving to the Completion Record or will be displayed in topic context when moving to the Browse Topics page. This behavior is an option which can turned on or off.

5. A "Pages" menu item is now available as an alternative to tabs at the bottom.

6. Implemented "Select All" on the Edit menu for selecting an entire verse to be copied to the clipboard.

7. Each verse's "Topic" now appears at the end of the verse in Review and also in the Practice Pad. It is important to learn the topic as well as the verse.

8. You may now specify the number of copies to print when you print pictures.

9. On the Browse Verses page the picture always tracks with the highlighted reference.

10. The help file is expanded and revised.

11. A "Frequently Asked Questions" (FAQ) item is now available on the Help menu.

12. Memory Tips have been added to the Help menu.

13. Deleting a verse from the Completion Record now leaves the highlighted verse at the same point rather than going to the top of the list of verses.

14. A "Technical Support" item has been added to the Help Menu.

15. The "Cancel" button at initial "Logon" now terminates the program execution.

16. A new "Pop-up Menu" on the Completion Record allows a learner to highlight a verse & go directly to it in Browse Topics, Browse Verses, or Review Verses.

17. When on automatic review a Learner's review day does not advance unless all verses assigned for that day have been reviewed. In version 1.0 it was sufficient that the learner log on that day to advance the review day.
