A few of my students have inquired about the NFMC Gold Cup Program. This is a supplemental program designed to provide additional incentive and rewards for students continuing to participate in the NFMC Jr. Festival events over several years.

Students acquire points relative to the scores earned in each event in which they participate: Superior-5 pts., Excellent-4 pts., Very Good-3 pts., Good-2 pts., and Fair-1 pt. These points accumulate from year to year and in most cases can not be combined between events. When a student has accumulated 15 or more points in any given event, the first Gold Cup is awarded. There are five sizes of Gold Cups, each successively larger size being awarded when the student has earned another 15 points in that same event. Students who participate in more than one NFMC event will simultaneously accumulate points toward Gold Cups in each event.
