Talking Drums

The talking drum also known as Tama, Dondo on Kalunga originates from West Africa. Our version uses select hardwoods that give the best sound available. A special mounting system for the goat skin heads laced together make these drums extremely sensitive with a dynamic range. Replacement heads are also available. These drums are stave constructed.

Each drum comes with hand carved, curved beater.
