Shekere

The Shekere originates from Africa and is used in religious ceremonies to give praise to various "Orishas" (deities). In North America, the religions of Lucumi and Santeria utilize Bata drums with Shekere and chorus. Made from selected gourds, our Shekeres are closely knotted and treated inside to give the best possible resonance. Leather bottom, Orisha colors and ribbon on request. Various colors are used so that no two are alike.

The sizes available are x-small, small, medium, large, and giant.
