Gnarklin

I have to say that this is probably my favorite piece to date as well as one of my most successful. It grew, again, out of the acrylics class in response to an assignment on texture. I began by texturizing the 2' by 3' canvas with natural materials and paint and after the paint had dried I worked back into the painting bringing out elements and painting out others. This painting was also my first premeditated use of a limited pallate, begining a trend towards simplified color schemes.
