Exhira

Exhira is also a product of the Life Studies class. It is a rather small piece in ink on paper. What makes this one so interesting to me is the line quality and the dynamism of the lines flowing over the shoulder and the very interesting neck of the model in this pose. This piece was created using a small stick with a beveled end instead of a dip pen or any other technical instrument, allowing me to find bold, deep black lines as well as more delicate, grey ones.
