BODYWORK
- Techniques that employ the use of massage, accupressure and other Therapeutic modalities that aid in the reduction of stress (both physical and emotional) and for the prevention of Dis-ease and promotion of better health.
I offer a variety of different styles and applications that I really enjoy sharing with the community.
Educated in several different modalities (both abroad in the UK, and in school locally in the VA Beach area, I am certified in several areas and a licenced bodyworker.
TREATMENTS
Treatment times range from 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours depending on the length and depth of the bodywork needed. (IE. Injury, problem areas, etc)
Cost of the treatment is $45.00. (Out-calls only at this time). Treatments can consist of one or more of the following:
- Reiki
- Swedish massage and bodywork
- Foot reflexology
1) REIKI - 1 hour (Light Touch Therapy)
A healing Touch Technique that works with Chi or Ki energy within all living things. Utilizing this energy along with a Japanese healing touch technique, the the body is allowed a better opportunity to heal itself from dis-eases. This technique has proved successful in both acute, chronic and preventive cases.
A certified Reiki Master from the Reiki Alliance, I offer certification teachings in REIKI I and II degrees, with some new info included.
2) Swedish Massage with Active Joint Movements and Rotations
3) Foot Reflexology - 1 hour or incorporated lightly into overall massage.
