Ward Creek Press

Ward Creek Press is Anne DeGrace and Steve Thornton. Link: WCP home
Anne DeGrace is a librarian, a mother, a resident of Nelson, an illustrator, and a writer. She is far too involved in the local arts scene, and knew the moment she arrived in Nelson (1981) that she would spend her life here. She is over 30, and has been for a while.

Steve Thornton is a freelance writer and photographer, a father, a motorcycle enthusiast, and assorted other things. He arrived in Nelson in 1983 and did not expect to stay for 20 years. He's been over 30 for a while longer than Anne.

David R. Gluns is a freelance photographer whose work appears regularly in Beautiful B.C. magazine and other publications. While he is not affiliated with Ward Creek Press, his stirring photography made both books possible, and he was a principal contributor.

Other contributors of photographs include Jeremy Addington, Eva Anthony, Gordon F. Brown, Gillian Browning, Anne DeGrace, Larry Doell, Barney Gilmore, Phil Harrison, Vicki Hart, Patrizia Menton, Steve Thornton, and Linda Van Damme.
