Like other British companies most if not all original figures were sold painted. As the figures were made with polyethylene plastic which does not bind paint well most original figures will have had considerable paint loss.

To go with the above figures Lone Star made a series of much smaller scale siege weapons. The weapons bodies are diecast metal with plastic wheels.

These figures are hard to find. Perhaps chalk was used in the plastic mix (for better paint adhesion) as they often have damage. All poses were painted in blue as Union and gray as Confederates.

These 54mm soldiers are usually painted with red (Paratroop) berets, but we have seen several with the berets painted black. These figures are usually found with a paint loss of 50% or greater.
