TOY SOLDIER HQ INC - HOW TO ORDER
Each infantry set contains 20 figures in 10 poses. Artillery sets have five figures + one cannon. Each set will have at least one, but not neccesarily two of each pose. Most figures are about 56-58mm in size
The British and German sets are identical except for the shade of blue they were run in.
Like other series Armies in Plastic would put the figures in different colors and givem different set numbers and names. The Union Infantry are also "Sharpshooter" & "Marines" for example.
Most Colonial wars seem to involve the British. Armies in Plastic made a set of British for the Boxer Rebellion and then making some head and or arm swaps made three more sets of essentially the same troops. The Boxer British were made in a cream color while the other three sets were made in a rich tan.
The British often made use of native allies such as the Egyptian and Indian troops that fought beside them.
The British went around the world picking fight with many different peoples.
The United States of American and France also fielded colonial armies.
As usual some sets were run in more than one color.
