Answer: The answer to that question is the cost of shipping all that weight. A 10x15 kit with out the tubing and with the shipping costs about $132.90. The same canopy with the tubing would cost with shipping $261.65. You save about $128 to buy tubing with.
Answer: Most popular size of tubing is 1 inch EMT that is measured by the inside diameter of the tubing. The out side of the tubing measures about ONE INCH AND A 1/8 OD.
Answer: NO. That tubing is only 18 gauge tubing and one inch EMT is 14 gauge tubing. 18 gauge tubing is thinner than 14 gauge tubing. The higher the gauge the thinner it gets and the weaker it is. Tubing is gauged like wire the thinner it is the higher the gauge.
