This is a test page to test client side databases. The records are real. There are two databases on this page, both are incomplete - but total about 200 macros.
Doing databases with RDO. No special web servers required, only IE4 or higher.
See the Downloads page and the tips page. To actually find the macro in this test page, make a note of the Q number and query on that number at Microsoft's Support Site at http://support.microsoft.com/support
To search for a word in the description field use * word *. To search for the first word use Word * or the last word use * word. To search for a string within a word or word use *partialword*. Searches are case sensitive. Macros on this Site (Word 1 - Word 2000)

The file table1.txt, sermacro.txt, ser1macro.txt, sitemacro.txt, and supmacro.txt are required to be in the same directory as this file, you will find them in your Temporary Internet Cache. It can be any web server.
This page is for debugging and testing purposes only. It will also include application notes and macros supplied with Word.
Most, if not all, Word 97 macros should be compatible with Word 2000. Likewise Word 1 should be compatible with Word 2, Word 2 should be compatible with Word 6. Word 6 and Word 95 were almost identical except for the change from Windows 3.1 to Windows 95 - this means if the macro only uses Word functions (most do) then they are compatible, probably both ways. Only simple macros from Word 95 are compatible with Word 97.
The page still hasn't been finished, without help it probably won't be. The problem is in getting 600+ records into a database by typing. It's very soul destroying. If you want to help then E-Mail me.
