The Matrix is a sound healing technology developed from the Mayan Sacred Calendar (the "Tzolkin"), (based on the analogies between the Tzolkin and Holy Kabbalah). In keeping with the Mayan cosmology, the Matrix is a comprehensive, sequence of sonically transposed celestial frequecies that interweave, synchronize and unify the dynamic energies of the Cosmos that communicate fundamental information relative to Archetypes of consciousness, (including those represented by the Kabbalah's Sephirot), as well as inorganic and organic matter (including DNA) and all states of being in all dimensions. The Matrix is primarily designed to enable the individual to collectively circulate, integrate and express the Formative Archetypal Energies of Nature within her/his total [mind/psyche/body] being in order to facilitate higher consciousness as well as mental (spiritual), psychic (emotional) and physiological health.
[It is impossible to understand the workings of the Tzolkin and the Matrix unless one accepts the indivisible unity of science and religion. The explanation of how the Matrix works must combine the two points of view.]
The Tzolkin is a binary model (in base 20) of celestial cycles which, on the surface, consists simply of 260 planetary cycles or "days".
Each kin/Harmonic is like a magnet, it has an active pole and a passive pole. Thus, when translated into sound, each kin must be expressed in stereo, with the active portion in the left ear and the passive portion in the right ear. When the brain hears this stereo expression, it recognizes the mathematical relationships of the tones as a specfic "value" of information. When multiple values are expressed, i.e. the Harmonic sequence of an Archetypal Quality, the brain makes internal adjustments to enable itself to logically process the information relative to that Quality in the most efficient manner. This stimulates the brain [or "nexus"*] to develop new neuronal connections in order to enable it to access, assimilate and utilize the Energies represented by that information. In turn, these connections in the brain increase communication between and amongst the regions of the collective nervous system, the physical body systems (including DNA*) and the various subtle body systems (including the chakras, acupuncture meridians et al). These combined effects make it possible for the individual to access healthier frames of mind, i.e. to elevate his basic level of consciousness as a natural aspect of developing an healthier whole body condition as a natural consequence of the nexus being nourished by higher Qualities of information.
Furthermore, just as specific groups of Harmonics -- (remember, we're referring to the musical tone that is derived from the frequency of a single planetary cycle [one of 13 specific and sequentially repeating cycles/frequencies] as an Harmonic) -- < as I was saying > just as a specific group of Harmonics represents a specific Archetype/Quality of consciousness from the Mayan perspective, they also represent Qualities of Archetypes from the perspectives of other spiritual, religious, mystical and philosophical traditions. Judaism is one of these traditions and the 10 sephirot of the Kabbalah's Tree of Life are among these Archetypes. The cycles of the 20 Mayan Archetypes and the 10 Kabbalistic Archetypes are Harmonically integrated in Nature. The Matrix is a sonic expression of the fundamental integration of the Qualities embodied by the Tzolkin and the Kabbalah's Tree of Life. Ultimately, the Matrix may facilitate whole personal health to the extent that the individual is able to interact with and transform herself into Divinity in a manner which is consistent with the highest Qualities of the individual's personal religious/spiritual orientation.
