This is what the base of the stand looks like. Each stand has the screw set into the wood so it won't scrape on the floor.

This is what a stand looks like when it is painted. This is my stand with the beanies already on it.

This is what the stained base looks like. It brings out the natural part of the wood while the paint just covers it up. I like them both anyway.
