This macro virus is a variant of the original Melissa macro
virus. It is Outlook and MAPI aware, and attempts to send itself
to the first 40 addresses in your address books.

This virus has similarities with WM97/Melissa-U.

When you are infected by this virus it inserts the text: "Opening
Microsoft Outlook..." into your current document at the cursor
position.

When the virus forwards itself it uses the subject: "My Pictures
<username>" (where <username> is taken from the current user
information settings).

There is no message text, but an infected document is attached.

The virus payload triggers immediately and attempts to delete
data on your M:, N:, O:, P:, Q:, S:, F:, I:, X:, Z:, H:, and L:
network drives.

The virus then beeps three times and pops up a message box
saying: "Please Check Your OutLook Inbox E-Mail !"

The text "Hint: Get Norton 2000 not McAfee 4.02" is inserted in
your current Word document.
