FlashMaster G Hoax
|
This is not a virus; it is a complete hoax. The "virus" does not exist. There is currently no virus that has the characteristics ascribed to "FlashMaster G." It is a sham, meant only to panic new or inexperienced computer users. The message includes the following "warning" in Dutch: Hallo, LET OP!! Als je een e-mail
ontvangt met een file "FlashMaster G" moet je hem NIET openen. Dit bericht
bevat het virus "El Poco". Je harde schijf wordt dan meteen gewist maar
ook kan een heel netwerk worden platgelegd. Stuur deze e-mail naar zoveel
mogelijk mensen. Het is een nieuwe, zeer kwaadaardig virus en maar weinig
mensen kennen het. Niet veel mensen weten nog van dit virus, dus zend deze
mail aan zoveel mogelijk vrienden, kennissen en relaties, zodat de verspreiding
van het virus kan worden stopgezet. Het is een zeer gevaarlijk virus en
wordt op dit moment door nog geen enkel anti-virus programma herkend.
