Invaders is a PC version of the classic arcade game. The seminal
coin-op of yesteryear has been reproduced with every detail intact
- crumbly shields overhead, sleek flying saucers scanning the land
below, lasers whizzing about at high speed.
You may recall frittering away long (but immensely fun) hours, spending countless ten pees or quarters to play the game in your local arcade. Perhaps you're one of a new generation of games players who is yet to experience the thrill of darting about, blasting descending aliens, one laser at a time, sometimes cowering behind shields.
So what's in this new version? Dynamic acetate technology (full colour) Each level has a different theme Notorious Space Warp! level and others Smooth animation of claws, legs, and eyeballs Copious exploding smithereens Corner quips to psyche you out Mind blowing noises as well as plips, bleeps and blops Get on the Hall of Fame, but only if you're buff enough
