Nathan Galloway, Dustin Schlatter, CP Schlatter, Rob Preston, Matt
Valenti, Brian Stith, Daniel Bedoy and Jeremy Hart. Note that Jeremy won
the “Most Dedicated” Camper Award at Winter Break Training Camp. I will
be attending 1999 USA Wrestling Cadet World Team Trials to coach these
guys and other campers in attendance. I would like to see many Olympian
Campers make their mark on the world next year. Work hard on your
freestyle and Greco skills this spring and summer. Prepare for the future! Note that CP and Dustin Schlatter of Columbus and Nathan Galloway of State College won USA & AAU National Championships on consecutive weekends. Their “commitment to excellence” is paying off! I can personally attest to the year round work ethic and intensity of these 3 dedicated youngsters, as I had the opportunity to work with them regularly during my 5 years coaching at Ohio State and Penn State. Now that I am back in State College I work with Nathan daily again. I expect to see great achievements form Nathan, CP, Dustin and many other regular campers during the years to come! These are just campers I could remember off top of my head. Let me know if I missed you. Note that there were over 11,000 entries in the district tournaments that you have to go through to qualify for Eastern Nationals. Less than 10% (1,041) of the wrestlers make it through the Districts and Regionals to compete in the Eastern Nationals. Placing at Eastern Nationals is a significant achievement! |
