This page is my personal tribute to Garrison Starr. This girl from Memphis grabbed my attention at a big radio station concert in Memphis and has held it ever since. After hearing her spellbounding performance, I rushed to buy her latest release, "Eighteen Over Me." (Geffen) I have since traveled to Memphis a number of times with many friends to introduce them to a master of music and to treat myself to another great performance. Garrison's singing, guitar playing, writing, and kindness make her one of the best musical acts to come around in a long time. This girl can do it all and still leave everyone screaming for more. I recently had the pleasure of interviewing her for the Little Rock Free Press.
