Jaguar
Frog Holler's Jaguar

Jag 'n' Lisa
Here is Jag and myself in the snow! Sedro-Woolley rarely gets snow, so the dogs have been having a GREAT time running and playing in it. It looks like Jag has found a home, which will make us sad, but ultimately make us VERY happy! We know that she'll be thrilled to be an only dog (as long as she has a 4-legged buddy or two that will come and play with her once in a while!) to the wonderful woman who has opened her heart and her home to this special girl! Congratulations Jaguar! I'll miss you! :)

Jag at 12 months of age (above).

Jag was born on November 28, 2000 and is a dark brindle. She has a STRONG aversion to strangers and is very protective of her family. She needs a bit more socialization yet (the family that lovingly raised her was busy with 3 kids and because she didn't like people they had some difficulty getting her out and about) but she is a very good dog. She seems to learn fast and she gets along extremely well with all of our dogs. She was raised indoors and is house broke, crate trained, and LOVES going for rides in the car.
Jag has been raised primarily on a raw food diet and is healthy and problem free. She was x-rayed last month and her hips and elbows are sound - her PennHIP scores were too average for us to keep her for breeding purposes. She has lots of OFA'd/PennHIP'd dogs in her background - of her 6 closest relatives (parents/grandparents), 5 either passed OFA or were PennHIP'd average or better. The Grandsire who isn't OFA/PH simply was never x-rayed by his owner, but many of his puppies have gone on to pass OFA/PH. Jag's sire, Maverick was imported from Brazil.

Jag @ 11 monthhs Jag Profile
Jag right after her bath. She's none too happy about it, but I couldn't have her running around the house covered in MUD from playing with the rest of the crew! Unfortunately, the lens of my camera has fog on it so her pictures aren't too clear, but you can see that she has a lovely feminine head and plenty of loose skin! This girl has a fantastic Fila temperament and will not tolerate strangers talking to her. She reminds me of her mother, Ashley!

WOW! Jag sure is growing into a gorgeous girl! She seems to have a really pretty head, with nice straight front legs. Christy tells me that she has a very strong Fila temperament too - she doesn't tolerate any strangers at all! So far, she seems to be developing very correctly!!! :)

These pictures were taken on May 7th - can you believe how much she has grown!? She sure is looking great!

where did she go?in the snow
Here are the newest pictures of Jag at her new home. BOY! Does she blend in with the furniture, eh?!?! You can see what a sweetie she is in her snow picture - she is totally smiling at the camera. Christy tells me that Jag is doing great and is loving the attention that her 3 kids are giving her!

@ 6 weeks of age
Here she is at 6 weeks of age. What a cutie, huh?!?!

@ 1.5 weeks of age
This is Jaguar at the tender age of 1.5 weeks. She wasn't the least bit happy about having her picture taken!

*Jaguar is now happily living with her new best friend, Becky Peek, of TX.*
