Above Ground Fire Protection System

Location: Northwest Coastal Region, Western Australia
Bondstrand Piping System Supplied & Installed: Series 2420 Factory Mutual Approved for above ground service (World first)
Areas of Application: Sea water wet fire main that provides protection of export salt conveyor system
Pipe Sizes and Quantities: 50 - 200 NB, in approximately 1400 linear metres of pipe and fittings that follow the conveyor system that feeds salt to the Port loading facilities.
Completion: February, 2000
This project was completed within the Client's specified time and budget.

Cawse Laterite Nickel Processing Project

Location: 50 km east of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia
Bondstrand Piping System Supplied & Installed: Series 2000
Areas of Application: Ammonia Recovery/Leach Area; Cobalt Sulphide Filtration Area; Pressure Leach Area; Plant Services.
Pipe Sizes and Quantities: 25 - 300 NB, in approximately 2200 linear metres of pipe and fittings distributed throughout the process areas.
Completion: September, 1998
This project was completed within the Client's extended time and budget. The Bondstrand installation has out performed other well known fibreglass systems utilised on other areas of this site by the way of hassle free installation and localised back-up and servicing from their local approved installer -Wenco Pty Ltd.

Griffin Venture FPSO Seawater Cooling Upgrade Project

Location: North West Shelf, Western Australia
Bondstrand Piping System Supplied & Installed: Series 7000M anti-static
Areas of Application: Seawater Cooling Lines to and from the Heat Exchangers.
Pipe Sizes and Quantities: 200 NB, in approximately 300 linear metres of pipe and fittings distributed through the process skids onboard ship.
Completion: 1997
This project was completed within the Client's time and budget. Bondstrand Series 7000M system chosen to replace a failing lined carbon steel system.

Thevenard Island Produced Water Disposal System Upgrade

Location: North West Shelf, Western Australia
Bondstrand Piping System Supplied & Installed: Series 2000 & 7000
Areas of Application: Replacement of existing lined schedule 80 carbon steel water disposal system.
Pipe Sizes and Quantities: 50 - 350 NB, in approximately 1600 linear metres of pipe and fittings distributed throughout the process areas downstream of the separators.
Completion: 1997

The carbon steel system was failing after only eighteen months in service from various causes including: sulphur reducing bacteria; H2S; CO2. The client, West Australian Petroleum, can now expect their Bondstrand pipework to last longer than the operational life of the oil & gas producing fields our system services.

Wandoo Full Field Development Concrete Gravity Base Substructure Project

Location: North West Shelf, Western Australia
Bondstrand Piping System Supplied & Installed: Series 2000M & 7000M
Areas of Application: Ballasting, Seawater Services, Pump Columns, Crude Oil Transfer, Diesil Fuel, Hypochlorite and Instrumention Ducts.
Pipe Sizes and Quantities: 50 - 750 NB, in approximately 4200 linear metres of pipe and fittings distributed throughout the concrete tank storage system and the main services shaft.
Completion: June, 1996

This project was completed within the projects specified time frame and budget, even though major design changes were instigated in mid contract. Wenco provided 24 hour services during the continuous concrete pour stage of construction.
