JOSHUA TREE, Calif. (AP) - Jazz singer Nancy Wilson is in the hospital. A spokeswoman says the singer is being treated for a collapsed lung, but is expected to recover. The spokeswoman says Wilson's lung is being reinflated at Hi-Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree, California, and she is in good spirits.

In 2006, Grammy and Emmy Award-winning jazz singer NANCY WILSON announced that, after a 52-year career, she was cutting back. "I'll probably record again and (do) a few very special concerts," she wrote to Soultracks.com, "but, all in all you won't see me out there on the circuit. I need to spend more time at home with my family." Then she won her third Best Jazz Album Grammy for "Turn To Blue." Then she did a 70th birthday tour, including a date at Carnegie Hall. And now she's performing at the McCallum Theatre with cabaret star Michael Feinstein.
