"I can see clearly now"

Some years ago, my paternal grandmother gave me some of her old family photographs. They have always been one of my greatest treasures, but some of them were in much need of restoration..

Over the years, I've made inquiries to see if I could get them restored. I've found several places that would 'reproduce' them (as is) but not restore them.

So, like the "Little Red Hen", I decided I'd have to 'do it myself '... I've been restoring photographs ever since.. Many of my own, but for others also..

Among some of those that grandmother gave me, this is Grace, my great aunt...
And here is Fred & his wife, my great great uncle (b.1866-d.1900)..
This is my great great grandmother (b.1830-d.1918)..
This one is of great great grandmother & great great grandfather together, (He was born in 1826 & died in 1919)..

On my maternal side, my aunt gave me some of her old family photographs.. some of those were in need of restoration also..
This couple, my great grandparents , (Jacob was born in 1855 & died in 1922, and Barbara was born in 1856 & died in 1937)..
I copied this photo of my great grandparents from a book I borrowed from my aunt. The book was about some of the first settlers in Rush County, Kansas...
This is my grandfather's sister and husband on their wedding day...
And here is my grandfather's brother and wife on their wedding day...
And this is my beloved parents when daddy was in the Navy, in 1943..

Although my specialty is in old photographs, I don't restrict myself to 'just' the old ones, I work with new photos as well.. Here is one I did for my sister-in-law... And here are two of my cousin.. example #1 and example #2

I've also done some 'just for fun' , and have even done some out of curiosity ..

This is the one I call my 'fantasy'... :)
I'm sure you all've seen this poster before.. it's as popular as "Joe Camel"... He's called "The Marlboro Man".. Yeah, he fits right in with my fantasy... :)
Anyway, here's the 'before' picture and here's the 'after' one..
That is after I got a hold of it... :)

There are a few more "Samples" below... please feel free to take a look at them..
