Our studio specializes in one-of-a-kind interpretive art for the inner and outer eyes. This is NOT your father's tie dye.
Paul has produced truly original stage backdrops for musicians including
three sets for The String Cheese Incident and
one triptych-inspired set for Yonder Mountain String Band. With a major turning point in our lives, 3rd Eye Candy has also undergone change. We are grateful for all the support we have had over the past 13 years, and look forward to creating new energies and events. We are available for rent for your event. Concerts, weddings, parties. contact us at
Tie Dye Paul for pricing and details.

Celebrating 10 years of psychedelic madness!
Using millenium-old techniques from around the world,
Paul translates music to visual art.
Hundreds of tiny stitches are hand-sewn into cloth to create the resist
(the "folds and rubber bands" of other dyes).
The cloth is dyed and the stitches are removed by hand.
Despite the name, what Paul does is light-years beyond any tie dye available in the world. We use tratik and shibori techniques from the East and folding techniques from Western Africa.

No sloppy, production-line, made-by-the-dozen garments.
Each garment, like each recipient, is an individual work of art
