Our Mission   TMEI is a transportation education services company dedicated to the improvement of highway safety by providing quality training programs for those who can't get what they need from mainstream institutions.  We intend to provide a level of training and knowledge of commercial motor vehicle operations and driver safety for our clients that will not only reduce their many expenses related to unsafe driving, but also reduce the overall cost to society. We also maintain a friendly, fair, and creative work environment, which respects diversity, new ideas, and hard work.

 
 

Background  Since 1991, Transportation Management Enterprise Inc.(TMEI) has provided complete training and test preperation classes for Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.  TMEI's president, Mr. Cedric Fryar, a 20 year professional driver, has successfully designed and conducted effective training programs for individuals and groups for both private and public sector organizations.  Reflective of this valuable experience, TMEI's comprehensive CDL program emphasizes:  equipment safety knowledge of commercial motor vehicle operation driving regulations TMEI's CDL program has been very successful for our clients since its beginning. Our service will continue to grow.

Classes CDL 101-A: Class A CDL, Tuition: $6,200  CDL 101-B: Class B CDL, Tuition: $3,100  This category of comprehensive classes are designed for individuals with no previous experience with commercial vehicles. They provide the instruction needed to obtain a CDL learners and regular permits with both Air brake and Passenger endorsements.  Prerequisites: Medical Card  CDL 200-A: Class A CDL, Tuition: $2,000  CDL 200-B: Class B  CDL, Tuition: $1,000    Classroom lecture and practice test on appropriate material for endorsement sought.  These CDL test prep-classes are designed for drivers with at least a learners permit previous experience with commercial vehicles. They focus on:  Pre-trip training:  fine tune or re-familiarize drivers with CDL regulations, vehicle mechanic/equipment operation, driving and equipment safety. Road test diagnostic & correction:  conduct a road test to diagnose driving skill proficiency. Prerequisites: CDL Learner's Permit  Endrosements Program: Tuition: $300  Classroom lecture and practice test on appropriate material for endorsement sought.
