What Is Drug Abuse?

Drugs are natural and/or synthetic substances that affect a persons mind, body and behavior.

Some drugs are used for medical reasons such as to relieve pain or fight diseases however, using drugs for non-medical reasons is DRUG ABUSE!

Signs of Drug Abuse

Drowsiness, Irrational Behavior, Restlessness, Excessive "Reflex" Action, Drunkeness, Dilated or Pin-pointed Pupils, Talkactiveness, Possession of Needles or Syringes, "Roach" Holders, Water Pipes and/or Needle Marks on the arms, and/or other parts of the body.

Where To Get Help?

Ending the drug habit without help can be dangerous and difficult, however, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me"- Philipians 4:13. Your not alone or helpless. Preventing drug abuse begins with preventing drug use. "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him"-Hebrews 11:6. A person may receive one or more kinds of help including:

*Rehabilitation*

*Medical Supervision*

*Counseling*

*New Blocking Drugs*

*Methadone Maintenance*

However, "I am the vine, ye are the branches: he that abideth in me, and I in him the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing"-John 15:5. There are safer and more rewarding alternatives to abusing drugs. They involve doing something that you can find exciting, meaningful and satisfying. "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths"-Proverbs 3:5/6.

Our Primary Goal Is To...

First, elevate public awareness about this sacriligeous epidemic.

Second, rehabilitate the affects that abusing drugs has on every human being from the very first time they decide to engage in its usage.
