Laura Ault

Laura Ault is currently attending college at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, intent on graduating with a BFA in Graphic Design. Although her drawings have not been exhibited professionally, they have been displayed at her online gallery for several years. When she's not busy with class work, Laura enjoys passing the time away with her sketchbook, a sharp pencil and good cup of tea.

Although artistically-inclined at an early age, Laura owes it to her parents for her progression as an artist. They provided the art materials and encouragement for those first few scribbles. Since then, she has created numerous artworks within the furry and fantasy art genres, using a mixture of pen, marker and colored pencil. Her favored style of using ink to outline figures stems from her love of comic books and art nouveau artists like Beardsley and Mucha.

Laura's art is found throughout the poetry pages and on the cover of the January - February - March - 2002 issue of Poetry Depth Quarterly.
