Calvert Brown

Calvert Brown is a lifetime resident of Atlanta and has been drawing and painting for over thirty years. Mr. Brown is a self-taught artist and continues to further his education. He uses oils, acrylics, pastels, and pencils. Some of his artistic associations include: Georgia Artist Registry and the Individual Artist Coalition. His art has been displayed at (to name a few): Columbia Theological Seminary, Emory University Law Library (Solo Exhibit), Etowah Art Gallery (Honorable Mention), Albany Museum Of Art, and Georgia National Art Fair (First Place).

I believe there is a place inside each one of us that is called "SELF". We as individuals visit this particular place from time to time unconsciously. While at this place, we as individuals become so mesmerized or consumed by our thoughts and ideas that we lose all sense of existence; at this point we all, in some way or another become ...ART...
