After walking among old Federalist & Georgian homes on Beacon Hill, Sip tea with me, upstairs, above Cheers on Beacon Street, We'll overlook The Garden, watch Bostonians from a proper seat. After discovering alleyways of forgotten immigrants' lives, Taste cannolis with me in a pastry shop of the crowded North End, We'll breathe coffee beans and red sauce near Hanover Street's bend. After looking upward at many magnificant soaring church spires, Pray with me in The Boston Synagogue of the West End, We'll bless wine and bread next to a highway on the mend. After selecting from folk, ballroom, Israeli, square, or swing, Dance with me in Fresh Pond's wooden Veterans hall, We'll grapevine, pivot, partner, as we follow a Bahstun call. To get better views of Emerson, BU, MIT, and Harvard, Bicycle with me along the Charles Riverside, We'll picnic with a view of the Hancock to savor our ride. To stop at Brandeis, Wellesley, Tufts, Northeastern, and BC, Let's take the Green and Red Lines to each university, We'll feel like students again if we don jeans and Ts. After peering at ships and planes along the Harbor's waterfront, Let's drive Ted Williams' Tunnel to Revere's crescent beach, To squish bare feet in white sands, toes into the Atlantic's reach. After feeding parking meters on South Boston's East Broadway, Let's meander from Castle Island to the finest pubs in the Bay, We'll taxi to the Ritz afterwards for coffee, the capstone of our day. Finally, after buying tickets for Fenway's game tomorrow, Come upstairs to dream about baseball in Boston, We'll awaken cheering, Yankees 0, Red Sox 21!
