J & A Market and Greenhouses is a small, seasonal, family owned business established in 1981. Initially just selling fruit and vegetables together with a range of delicious traditional home baking, we have expanded by adding greenhouses enabling us to grow our own bedding plants. We now have a thriving handicraft section with a range of products made on the premises and can accept commissions for individually customised items suitable for that special gift.
We are located off Highway 3 in southwestern Ontario, Canada, in the scenic "Fruit Basket" area on the beautiful western shore of Lake Erie. The vast amount of fruit and vegetables grown in the area has led to this aptly descriptive name being rightfully applied. During the summer season we are visited by many people who are on vacation and travelling around the lake. They are happy to stop a while in such a lovely place. It will be our pleasure to give you a warm welcome on your next visit with the firm knowledge that once you have sampled our little corner of paradise you will wish to return again and again.

We also have a variety of other baking available including muffins and cookies. Our specialty is sugar free baking for diabetics and those on a restricted carbohydrate diet.
