Kehau Baijo was born and raised in Papakoela, Hawaiian Homestead on the Island of Oahu in Hawaii.
She began her stand up comedy career in the Fall of 1993 at a comedy workshop sponsored by popular Hawaii comic Andy Bumatai. Within months she was featured in shows with other Island comics at various venues including a three month engagement at a popular Waikiki hotel lounge. A year later she became a regular opening act at the Honolulu Comedy Club, then at the Comedy Cow at Coconuts Night Club at the Ilikai Hotel.
She has opened shows for comedy stars Judy Tenuta and Tommy Chong among others, and musical superstars Hall and Oates and Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. In December 1997 Kehau completed a succesful four island tour with comedy star Howie Mandel, and was featured on Turner Broadcasting's "Comedy Cure 3" which aired internationally on TBS on New Years Eve and New Years Day 1998.
She can be seen on the video "Hawaii's Comedy Stars" and heard on the double CD of the same name, both to benefit the Freddie Morris Fund.

Kehau continues to perform at charity, corporate and private events both as stand up comic and mistress of ceremonies and is working on her first comedy CD.
