Our international membership has increased again, this time it's Norway! Ketil S. is from Sulitjelma, Norway and he owns a 1976 Jag 2000, a 1979 Pantera, a 1981 Pantera, a 1997 widetrack (Bearcat?), and a 2003 Firecat 500. He also has a Swedish-built Ockelbo with a 300 Sachs engine. Ketil says he is desperately looking for seat covers for both of the Panteras.

Well, another "Vintage Fest" in Green Lake, WI is in the books and I think it turned out fine. Dennis K. tried a more relaxed format that had some good points, and some not so good points, judging by the feedback I got from some of the participants and spectators. The "good" was the way the show participants and spectators got to vote and help decide who the trophy winners were. The not-so-good was the way the show line (or lack of it) was set up. People could bring their trucks and trailers in and park in rows and set up right by their rigs. Some unloaded their sleds, some did not. I personally think that if Dennis keeps the participant/spectator voting but goes back to a more formal show line set up, that he will have a winning format for next year. But, that's just my $ .02.

For now, I'll just let the pictures do the talking. Click Here To Check Them Out!

RUBICON, WI: Another good time was had by all, at the 2nd annual "Reunion At The Ranch". Trail sleds, race sleds, restored sleds, and rider sleds. And of course, the sled everyone is talking about, the straight as a pin and perfectly restored Sno-Pack, owned by Fred S. of Waupun, WI.

We were able to set up and show a few movies, which was fun. Member Gary W. was pleased with the positive response he got to his "custom" Kenworth truck... I mean 1975 El Tigre with the jade green metallic paint job (which actually is a Kenworth color). Member and "show boss" Robert G. says the show will probably be at a different location (about a mile up the road) next year, and I know I'll be there to check it out!

Pics from the 2005 "Reunion At The Ranch" will be posted soon.

Here are some pics of a certain 1970 Panther 303. I'll let new member Jerry M., from Minnesota, explain:

-

"The pic on the left is my '70 Panther 303 in 1970. I sold it in 1976 after many hours of trouble free riding.

The pic on the right is a sled I found on ebay. My old sled! I now own it again! It was just 70 miles from where I sold it 29 years ago. Still has the numbers I put on it in December of '69!

Now THAT'S a neat story! Congrats on getting your sled back!

Another repro decal supplier is Intech Graphics/SledStuff.Com. Bill S. has some exclusive repros (for now anyway), such as the 1976 Sno Pro, (US and Canadian versions), 1976 Cross Country Cat, 1977 Sno Pro, 1977 Cross Country Cat, and the 1980 Sno Pro.

Click HERE to see what they have got.

They also have some really neat Arctic Cat key fobs. (I've got about half a dozen of them already...)
