Project Zimbabwe yielded many interesting and wonderful images of the wildlife, people and countryside. The opposite image is of a Zambian in a dugout entitled "Chance Meeting." In 1990 while participating in a winter shoot/photo exhibition, I had the opportunity to visit with many Russian people. I found all of them to be very interesting and learned that the social problems of homelessness, unemployment and alcoholism embrace all nations equally. The next year, we saw the breakup of the Soviet Union. This picture was taken December 1990 outside the walls of the Kremlin. Images are available as 11x14 or 16x20 cibrachrome prints. Sometimes it is nice just to take a trip down memory lane. This picture was taken while I was driving from Ohio to Virginia. I call it "On the Banks of the Ohio." It was a misty morning, and this log cabin with the fur tacked to its side appeared in a rift in the fog. I felt like I'd stepped into the time of Daniel Boone.
